Annual General Meeting

agm

The Annual General Meeting of the Queensland Family History Society (QFHS) is held every year in June.

Meetings are normally hybrid meetings which members may attend either in person at the Family History Research Centre, 46 Delaware Street, Chermside, or online via Zoom. The registration link will be available prior to the meeting.

Business of the meeting

The President will report on the activities of the Society of the past year. Our Treasurer will report on the previous financial year and present the auditor’s report of the Society’s accounts for that period. Members will elect the Management Committee for the following year. An auditor will be appointed for the following year. There is opportunity for any other ordinary business.

Proxies

A member may appoint another member as a proxy to attend and vote on their behalf. Note that members who share a dual membership have only one vote for their membership.

Details of appointing a proxy are set out in the proxy form, available via the link in the website footer. A current proxy form will be available closer to the meeting.
