FamilySearch Digital Images

Members are able to access FamilySearch Digital Images from our Research Centre.
The FamilySearch website contains many digital images of records.Â
Â
Use the drop-down ’Search’ menu to choose various areas within the FamilySearch site where images may be held. These include ‘Records’, ‘Full Text’, ‘Images’, and more. Look for a camera icon in the search results.Â
Â
Depending on the agreement between FamilySearch and data providers, you may be able to view images on your home computer. When that is not possible, you may see a message directing you to a Family History Centre or to an approved Affiliate Library.Â
Â
Our Family History Research Centre is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library and you can access many more FamilySearch images on the QFHS computers than you can in other locations. While you may access many images from home, typically a search conducted within an Affiliate Library such as ours will provide many more results for the same search.Â
