You can bring your own laptop or use one of our computers.
Subscription websites
Our members can access Ancestry, Find My Past, The Genealogist, British Newspaper Archive, Biographical Database of Australia, Irish Ancestors, Emerald Ancestors. All are available at the Research Centre.
Society journals
The QFHS journal Queensland Family Historian is published quarterly and distributed to all financial members of the Society.
We also have a large collection of subscription journals from other family history societies.
Seminars, meetings and workshops
QFHS provides or participates in many activities to further family history knowledge and skills.
These are available to our members either online or in person.
Our collections
The society has an extensive collection of print, microform, and digitised records for Queensland, other Australian states, and overseas countries.
Members can also view digital images of FamilySearch microfilms.
Join Special Interest Groups
Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are groups which meet regularly to share common interests.
We currently have 12 special interest groups available for you to attend.

Attend AGM
Members elect a Management Committee every year at the Annual General Meeting.
All members are welcome to attend either in person or online. Come along and have a say in the running of your society.
